application process

The University of Arizona pediatric residency program has 15 PL-1 positions (NRMP Pediatrics C 101528) available beginning July 1, 2010. The Program accepts applications via ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) ONLY.

USMLE scores should be released to ERAS.

The deadline to receive the ERAS application files for the 2009-2010 interview season is November 1, 2009. Interviews will be held from appoximately mid-October through the end of January.

The following application documents are required:

1. Dean's letter
2. Medical school transcript
3. Curriculum vitae
4. Personal statement
5. USMLE scores
6. Three (3) letters of recommendation from physician faculty members with whom you have worked.

Information for International Medical Graduates

A personal interview, by invitation of our Housestaff Selection Committee, is required and must take place prior to January 31, 2010.
