My research activity mainly focuses on studying two types of nutrient transporters, sodium-hydrogen exchangers (NHEs) and sodium-dependent phosphate cotransporters (NaPi) at functional and gene expression levels. These studies help to understand how the body system responses to the normal physiological changes and pathophysiological conditions.
