Welcome

Welcome to the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Our dedicated physicians and subspecialists take care of thousands of sick children in Southern Arizona and around the state. Each year, 15 young doctors come to the University of Arizona as pediatric residents. During their three years of training, these doctors work alongside our faculty members and pediatricians in the community.

Nearly 100 research projects are underway in the Steele Children's Research Center which is the research arm of the department and one of 12 UA College of Medince Centers of Excellence. Every day, our physicians and scientists work to advance medical knowledge to help improve the health of Arizona's children and children throughout the world.
