Welcome to the Department of Pediatrics

Our dedicated faculty take care of thousands of sick children in Southern Arizona and around the state, providing general pediatric and subspecialty services and hold specialty clinics in rural areas throughout Arizona. Our faculty teach medical students through our clerkship program, and each year, 16 young doctors come to the UArizona as pediatric residents. Finally, our faculty physician-scientists and researchers are improving children's health through the UArizona Steele Children's Research Center, the research arm of the department.
